Overview

Shop Mechanic (Swing Shift)

Suncore is hiring a skilled Shop Mechanic to maintain and repair our construction equipment fleet. If you have diesel, hydraulic, and electrical repair experience, join our team for competitive pay, excellent benefits, and a supportive work environment!

Things You’ll Do

• Perform routine diesel engine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and dump trucks.

• Inspect equipment to identify worn or damaged parts and determine necessary repairs or replacements.

• Troubleshoot and repair engine fault codes using diagnostic equipment and tools.

Requirements

• Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and hydraulic diagrams.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Previous experience as a Diesel or Shop Mechanic, preferably in the construction industry.

• Diesel mechanic certification or equivalent experience preferred.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
