Job Title: Senior Supervisor Operations Management

Job Location: ****Salt Lake City, UT

Schedule: 2nd shift - 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days- totaling 80 hours worked- and have every other Friday off

L3Harris’ Communication Systems segment is currently seeking a Senior Supervisor, Operations Managment to join our team. This position will be based at our Salt Lake City, Utah facility. The Operations Sr. Supervisor supervises individual(s) typically consisting of support-level employees as well as professional employees.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead and support frontline employees during swing shift operations.

  • Keep the team on track to meet production schedules, quality expectations, and operational goals.

  • Track KPIs and communicate performance results, trends, and improvement opportunities.

  • Monitor workflow, allocate resources, and resolve daily operational issues.

  • Provide coaching, feedback, and development support to team members.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and ISO 9001 standards.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to address issues and improve overall performance.

  • Support employee onboarding, training, and engagement.

  • Promote a positive team environment built on accountability, communication, and teamwork.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree with a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Applicable manufacturing or production experience preferred.

  • Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and practices.

  • Proven experience in leading large-scale projects and cross-functional teams.

  • Demonstrated success in driving cultural change and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Strong networking skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of driving team performance and achieving operational goals.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively interacting with employees at all levels.

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
