Primary responsibilities for a manufacturing engineer will be identification and development of methods and tools required by the shipbuilder.

Duties include development of designs for tools and fixtures, preparation of Manufacturing Engineering Documents for sequence and alignment critical installations, and direct ship yard support. Daily interaction with related engineers/designers, ship yard trades, manufacturing vendors, and planning representatives from Groton, Quonset Point and Newport News is expected.
