Job Description:
The Electronics Assembler is responsible for performing a variety of assembly and wiring operations at various levels of assemblies, working from engineering drawings, schematics and/or wiring diagrams. Examples of assemblies include electrical and microwave circuits, Electro-optical and mechanical systems.
Essential Functions:

Utilize Assembly Instructions, drawings, blueprints and/or schematics to perform bench builds of various wire assemblies.

Utilize various type cables, harnesses, printed circuit cards (PTH & SMT) and chassis wiring.

Use various types of potting and epoxy compounds, wiring on or near optics and other assigned work.

Perform a variety of functions including clamping, checking clearances, crimping, wire dressing, soldering and mechanical assembly of components.

Maintain appropriate production records.

Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly manner.

Observe and follow all safety rules and regulations.

Wire previously installed components and subassemblies into main assemblies and perform assembly of components.

Reading and interpreting assembly instructions, engineering drawings, blue prints, wiring diagrams and schematics.

Perform a variety of harness and cable assembly installations.

Ablity to sit or stand for up to 10 hours at a time.

Must be able to lift 30-50lbs with assistance.

PPE must be wore in designated work areas. (ESD Lab coats, ESD safety shoes, and safety glasses)

IPC 620 and J Standard Certs.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Qualifications:

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.

Ability to read and understand blueprints, operation data sheets & computerized instructions

****In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Massachusetts is $57,000- $106,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
