About the job
A leading global professional services organization is hiring a Director, AI Vendor Evaluations & Management to lead the evaluation, selection, governance, administration, and strategic adoption of enterprise AI technologies. This individual will serve as the primary owner of the firm's AI vendor ecosystem, helping determine which solutions are brought into the organization and how they are leveraged across business functions.
This is a business facing leadership role focused on AI product ownership, vendor management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership. The person in this role will partner directly with attorneys, practice groups, executive leadership, technology teams, and external vendors to evaluate business needs, assess emerging AI solutions, and drive adoption of technologies that create measurable value for the firm.
This is not an AI engineering, software development, solutions architecture, or integration focused role. The ideal candidate is a business facing technology leader who has experience evaluating software platforms, managing vendor relationships, driving enterprise adoption, overseeing AI products, and leading teams. The focus is on AI strategy, vendor management, platform ownership, governance, and stakeholder engagement, rather than designing systems or writing code.
