Position Overview:

The Early Career Leadership Development Program – Information Technology is designed for those who want to use technology to solve real business challenges and make an impact from day one. In this program, you’ll explore how data, AI, digital tools, and connected systems help teams work smarter, make better decisions, and improve how products are made and delivered. You’ll gain hands-on experience at manufacturing sites, learn directly from business and technology leaders, and see how IT plays a critical role in powering innovation across Eaton. This program is a great fit for curious problem-solvers who enjoy learning in fast-moving environments, working with others, and turning ideas into practical solutions.

Participants will complete three manufacturing or business based rotations, with 1–2 relocations expected during the program. These relocations help to broaden experience across systems, technologies, and deployments as business needs evolve, placing you at the center of Eaton’s digital growth journey.

The program is structured as follows:

Rotation 1: Discover the business – Step into one of our key manufacturing or hub locations to understand how products are made, how information moves, and how technology helps teams work smarter. You’ll be tasked with helping to map process, understand pain points, and make recommendations of improvements based on stakeholders

Rotation 2: Build real solutions – Put your skills to work by helping deliver a digital, data, AI, or application solution that improve decisions, workflows and visibility for manufacturing leaders

Rotation 3: Lead with impact – Own a digital initiative implementation for a manufacturing site or functional team, aligning cross-functional stakeholders to deliver measurable business outcomes, showing your ability to drive technology-enabled transformation.

Program graduates can expect opportunities to move into leadership-track roles such System/Business Analyst, Data Engineers, or Site Integration roles. Longer term career path includes roles like IT Product Owners, Program Managers, System Leaders and more.
