Job Description:
L3Harris is seeking a highly skilled Level 3 Systems Engineer with Networking experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will take on unique challenges, broaden your technical expertise, and contribute to mission-critical system solutions that help protect the United States and our allies. You will work alongside a talented, collaborative team committed to solving complex technical problems and delivering high-quality results.
Essential Functions:

Manage system and subsystem-level requirements specifications using requirements management tools such as DOORS, ensuring accuracy and completeness throughout the lifecycle

Maintain bi-directional traceability between customer requirements, system requirements, subsystem requirements, and verification artifacts.

Support network engineering activities, including network architecture development, interface definition, IP-based communications design, and analysis of system performance, connectivity, and interoperability requirements.

Create and maintain verification matrices and support system verification and validation activities, including selected verification by analysis efforts.

Collaborate across engineering disciplines, program management, customers, and suppliers to resolve technical issues and support program execution.

Demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Networking, Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering or related technical discipline with a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant systems engineering experience, or

Graduate degree (Master’s or PhD) in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Networking, Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering or related technical discipline with a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant systems engineering experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:

Experience preparing for and supporting design reviews such as SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, and technical interchange meetings.

RF and SATCOM communications experience
-
Experience with network architecture design and analysis, including LAN/WAN, IP networking, routing protocols, and network security principles.

Experience supporting network integration and test.
