About the job

Product RF is responsible for the RF engineering and validation that underpins every Apple product’s wireless performance. This role sits at the intersection of simulation engineering and automation, building the next generation of AI-driven simulation infrastructure for the team.

We’re looking for a Simulation Automation Lead to develop and manage a product simulation framework built on agentic AI, and to automate the manual setup work that currently slows down our simulation workflows. You’ll work closely with infrastructure teams to shape the architecture that supports this framework at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a product simulation framework based on agentic AI, from architecture through deployment.
  • Automate the simulation setup process end-to-end, reducing manual configuration and turnaround time.
  • Collaborate with and advise infrastructure teams on requirements and architecture needed to support the agentic simulation framework.
  • Partner with RF and simulation engineers to understand workflow pain points and translate them into automation and tooling priorities.
  • Collaborate with design teams to build a value-added simulation pipeline that links hardware design decisions to user experience outcomes.
  • Own the reliability, scalability, and maintainability of the simulation framework as adoption grows across the team.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Experience with Python or similar scripting languages for building automation pipelines.
  • Experience with EM/RF simulation tools (e.g., HFSS, CST, ANSYS) or comparable product simulation environments.
  • Expert in AI/agentic frameworks and applying them to engineering workflows.
  • Strong collaboration skills — able to work across RF, infrastructure, and software teams to align on architecture and requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or equivalent practical experience in EE, CS, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience designing or operating infrastructure/architecture for large-scale simulation or compute platforms.
  • Background in RF/antenna engineering or wireless product validation.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Track record of driving tool adoption across a technical organization.
