We are seeking extraordinary machine learning engineers with a strong software engineering background to join our team. We need curious and creative engineers with experience shipping machine learning and agentic systems, together with a proven track record of outstanding software engineering abilities. You should have experience designing, implementing, and evaluating data and machine learning systems on multimodal inputs for production systems. You should be able to plan and conduct experiments and to debug and optimize agentic machine learning applications. You will need to be willing to ask questions, be eager to teach and learn together, and share our belief that we can surprise and delight our customers with personalized intelligent experiences in all of Apple’s products. Minimum Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience building production machine learning systems
• MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Proficiency in at least one compiled language like C, C++, Objective-C, Swift, Go, Java, Kotlin, C#, or Rust

Preferred Qualifications

• Production experience with training, deploying, and evaluating autonomous agentic systems
• Production experience working with ML pipelines and large datasets
• Experience in resource constrained computing (e.g., embedded systems or mobile development)
• Proficient at using AI agent assistance effectively as part of software development workflows
