The Department of Mechanical Engineering is looking for a Laboratory Technician to assist with 10 hours of departmental lab and facilities management. The Laboratory Technician performs routine laboratory processes and follows routine protocols under close supervision.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate standard equipment.
- Use standard procedures for specific laboratory tests and preparation techniques.
- Assist with laboratory maintenance, prepare solutions, and order supplies.
- Identify and report problems in the completion of routine lab processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or graduation equivalent.

Additional education may substitute for required experience to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
Preferred Qualifications
- Some science coursework and/or training certificate from a technical institute.
