About the job
As a Journeymen Electrician - 4th Shift here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be responsible for supporting electrical engineering projects through testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems and components. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure the successful execution of projects and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
You will report directly to our Facilities Manager and you’ll work out of our Minneapolis, MN location on a 4th Shift (overnight) work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and reliability of electrical systems critical to our aerospace products and manufacturing processes, contributing to Honeywell Aerospace’s reputation for innovation and excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and components to support engineering projects.
- Assist in the installation, calibration, and maintenance of electrical equipment and instrumentation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze test data and provide technical support.
- Maintain accurate documentation of test procedures, results, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all electrical work.
Responsibilities
YOU MUST HAVE
- Experience in electrical system testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical components, wiring, and control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Proficiency with electrical test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power analyzers.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulatory requirements related to electrical work.
- 3+ years of experience as an Journeyman Electrician.
- MN Journeyman License

- Technical diploma or certification in Electrical Technology or related field.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
