AP Supervisor

About the job

The Accounts Payable Supervisor located in Duluth leads the daily operations of the Expense Payables function to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant processing of expense reports, corporate card transactions, and non-PO invoices. This role is responsible for achieving departmental KPIs, SLAs, and production goals while maintaining strong internal controls and audit compliance. The Supervisor oversees a team of Coordinators and Specialists and assists in managing offshore support to ensure service excellence, operational efficiency, and quality standards are consistently met.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in Accounts Payable or related finance function
• Experience with a large monthly volume of invoices
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and accounting principles
• Advanced Excel skills and strong overall PC proficiency
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach
• Process improvement mindset
• Conflict management and employee relations experience

Desired Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting/Finance or related field of
• study
• Experience with PeopleSoft or similar ERP system
• The ability to articulate the issue to those that can assist.
• Cross training and teamwork mentality.
• Enjoys learning and would be open to growing in the role.
