Apple is hiring an US Channel Cross-Functional Experiences and Platform Manager in Sunnyvale, California, United States. Posted October 20, 2026.
About the job
Marcom is the creatively-led global team that oversees Apple's consumer-facing marketing. We ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class communications across all media and platforms. Every day, hundreds of millions of Apple customers around the world interact with our products. We drive the strategy and creative work that provide both new and existing customers with simple, engaging, and inspiring marketing experiences.
The Channel team within Apple's Worldwide Marketing Communications group is responsible for developing go-to-market strategies that deliver against both marketing strategies and channel commercial objectives. The team leads the upfront strategy and alignment and provides ongoing cross-functional oversight and coordination of Apple's marketing efforts in Channel.
The US Channel Cross-Functional (XF) Experiences and Platform Manager defines and drives the strategy for Apple's presence across partner retail environments in the United States — spanning physical store experiences, digital platforms, merchandising, and fixturing. This role brings together Apple's strategy, creative, and analytics experts to develop transformative retail experiences that set new standards for how customers discover, learn about, and engage with Apple products in channel stores.
This role evaluates the current state of Apple's presence across US partner retail environments, identifies opportunities to elevate the customer experience, and develops actionable recommendations that shape how Apple shows up in channel stores — from physical fixtures and merchandising to digital touch-points.
Critical to this role is the partnership with the US CXF Communications Lead. Together, they define how campaigns come to life in the store environment — creating experiences that intercept and convert customers throughout their in-store journey. This collaboration ensures that Apple's communications strategy and store experience strategy are tightly integrated, turning campaign moments into measurable retail impact.
Working in close partnership with Worldwide counterparts and US Sales, this role ensures US strategies are informed by global best practices, aligned to commercial priorities, and tailored to the unique dynamics of the US retail landscape. This role helps inform how we bring Apple's products and services to life across every touchpoint, ensuring a cohesive and premium customer journey that deepens engagement and drives conversion.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the US strategy for how Apple's brand and narrative are expressed across partner retail environments — including physical store experiences, digital platforms, merchandising, and fixturing.
- Evaluate partner store environments across the US — assessing fixtures, merchandising, digital integration, and overall brand expression — to identify gaps and develop recommendations that raise the bar for Apple's in-store presence.
- Drive the creation of transformative retail experiences that set the standard for creative excellence and measurable business impact, shaping and future-proofing Apple's channel store strategies.
- Partner closely with the US CXF Communications Lead to close the gap between feed and shelf - translating digital and social campaign moments into the in-store journey. Define how communications and experiences work together to intercept and convert customers in-store journey, ensuring every campaign touchpoint drives engagement and sell-through.
- Build and maintain a close working partnership with US Sales to align store experience strategies with commercial priorities, ensuring retail investments drive both brand impact and sell-through performance.
- Maintain a strong, ongoing partnership with Worldwide counterparts to ensure alignment on global strategy, share insights, and adapt global frameworks for the US market.
- Lead a team of producers executing go-to-market product, platform and experience strategies in the US, ensuring operational excellence and high-quality delivery across all channel touch-points.
- Champion a culture of measurement and insight. Establish frameworks for how in-store and digital analytics inform and evolve US marketing plans, ensuring all initiatives are optimized for performance.
- Set the guiding principles for how retail experiences and digital platforms integrate into broader campaigns, ensuring a premium and cohesive brand story across every customer touchpoint.
- Provide guidance on the technical and physical infrastructure needed to support channel experiences and platforms, leading teams to build and enhance systems for effective and efficient deployment.
- Provide executive oversight for a portfolio of complex retail and digital experience projects. Ensure strategic alignment, operational excellence, and hold teams accountable for delivering measurable business results on time.
- Drive strategic alignment with senior stakeholders across Marcom, Product Marketing, US Sales, and partner teams to secure resources and champion the vision for the US partner retail ecosystem.
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in retail marketing, store experience strategy, or experiential marketing (strategy, planning, account or project management) with a leading agency or in-house marketing organization.
- At least 3 years in a leadership and people management role.
- Proven track record of conceiving and executing world-class, transformative retail experiences at scale.
- Deep understanding of the full retail experience spectrum — physical store environments, merchandising, fixturing, digital in-store, and e-commerce platforms — and how these touch-points shape the customer journey.
- Experience developing and delivering successful brand strategies across multiple channels.

- A strong leader with a consistent record of building, developing, and leading high-performing teams, with the ability to optimize how the team works.

- Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences from junior staff to senior leadership.
