It’s the diversity of those people and their ideas that inspires the innovation that runs through everything we do, from amazing technology to industry-leading environmental efforts. At Apple, inclusion is a shared responsibility, and we work together to foster a culture where everyone belongs and is inspired to do their best work.

Here on the Apple Store Online team, we are responsible for Apple’s largest store. Our main goal is to deliver a magical, personal digital experience where customers can shop, buy and learn everything Apple, wherever they are. Each customer should feel like they are our only customer and our job is to set the bar for the experience they receive. To run such an extraordinary store, it takes extraordinary people, and we are looking for someone to help us do extraordinary things.

Apple Store Online is defining how Apple participates in a world where AI agents mediate commerce. This role takes that vision and operationalizes it. You will connect the dots across strategic initiatives, emerging technologies, and external partnerships, bringing clarity to complexity and turning insights into action. The work spans agentic partnerships, new experiences, expansions, and the coordination across the Digital Experience team that holds it all together. If you are energized by simplifying complex systems and processes and making them move faster and smarter, this role is built for you.

We are looking for a non-traditional Program Manager who blends strategic thinking, operational expertise, and a passion for emerging technology to transform how we work. Operating at the intersection of strategy and operations, this person connects initiatives, partnerships, and different ways of working to uncover opportunities and accelerate outcomes. They thrive in ambiguity, challenge conventional approaches, and build smarter, more scalable ways of working. This role requires someone equally comfortable shaping strategic discussions with executives and rolling up their sleeves to solve complex operational challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Orchestration: Connect initiatives, teams, and partnerships to identify synergies, strengthen alignment, and accelerate strategic outcomes.
  • Operational Strategy & Scale: Design smarter, more efficient ways of working, leveraging AI, automation, and emerging technologies to increase speed and effectiveness.
  • Insights & Executive Engagement: Synthesize complex information, data, and emerging signals into actionable insights, compelling narratives, and executive-ready recommendations.
  • Proactive Problem-Solving: Anticipate challenges, identify opportunities, and develop creative solutions that help the organization navigate ambiguity and operate effectively.
  • Drive operational strategy across a portfolio of initiatives, connecting workstreams, identifying interdependencies, and creating alignment across Digital Experience teams.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to simplify processes, eliminate friction, and establish scalable approaches that improve organizational speed and effectiveness.
  • Experiment with AI, automation, and emerging technologies to develop tools, prototypes, and new approaches that transform how the team works
  • Translate complex business, technology, and operational information into data-driven insights, strategic recommendations, and compelling executive communications.
  • Proactively surface emerging opportunities, risks, and organizational challenges, developing recommendations and facilitating timely resolution.
  • Support strategic engagement with external partners, connecting insights and activities across relationships to strengthen collaboration and inform broader strategic priorities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years in program management, operations, or a related discipline within a complex, cross-functional organization
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, structure complex problems, and translate strategic objectives into meaningful action
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data to uncover insights, evaluate opportunities, and inform decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to be comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with shifting priorities
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in digital commerce and online retail across a variety of platforms
  • Experience operating at the intersection of retail strategy, technology, and organizational transformation
  • Strong understanding of emerging technologies, including AI, with the curiosity and initiative to experiment with new tools and approaches
  • Experience building AI-powered tools, prototypes, or lightweight solutions that improve team productivity and decision-making
  • Experience supporting executive-level strategic planning, operational analysis, and cross-functional decision-making
