Cognizant is seeking a Business Intelligence and Data Integration Platform Administrator for a full-time opportunity in Hartford, CT. This role will work out of our office in Hartford, CT.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for Business Intelligence (BI), Data Integration, and Analytics platforms.
Coordinate daily operational activities between business users, data engineering teams, BI developers, offshore support teams, and platform vendors.
Monitor the health, performance, availability, and capacity of BI and Data Integration platforms to ensure SLA compliance.
Manage user provisioning, access controls, security groups, workspace administration, and role-based permissions.
Oversee data pipeline operations, ETL/ELT job monitoring, workflow scheduling, and batch process execution.
Lead incident management activities, coordinate issue resolution, and provide timely communication to business stakeholders.
Perform root cause analysis on data failures, report discrepancies, integration issues, and platform outages to prevent recurrence.
Coordinate production deployments, platform upgrades, patching, and release activities with development and infrastructure teams.
Ensure data platform security, governance, compliance, and audit requirements are consistently met.
Monitor data quality, data refresh schedules, warehouse utilization, and integration service performance.
Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, database, and network teams to resolve cross-platform dependencies and optimize performance.
Develop and maintain operational runbooks, knowledge articles, support procedures, and platform documentation.
Generate operational dashboards, service metrics, platform utilization reports, and executive status updates. Identify automation opportunities, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and enhance platform stability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Support disaster recovery, failover testing, backup validation, and business continuity activities for analytics and integration platforms.
Provide technical leadership and operational guidance to offshore support teams, ensuring high-quality support and adherence to support processes.
The salary range for this role is between $115,000 and $135,000 depending on skills and qualifications of the candidate. Applications will be accepted till 10/15/2026.
