Job Description
The Middle Office Analyst is responsible for supporting and monitoring middle office functions that facilitate accurate processing, regulatory reporting, settlement, reconciliation and control of fixed income transactions. The role operates within a complex trading environment that supports a broad range of fixed income products and requires interaction with multiple front-office, middle-office and back-office systems to ensure accurate trade lifecycle processing and risk mitigation.

How You'll Spend Your Time

You will support fixed income trading operations, settlements, reconciliations, reporting, and account maintenance activities.

You will research and resolve trade, settlement, and account issues by partnering with internal and external teams.

You will monitor regulatory reporting to ensure accurate, timely submissions and address exceptions.

You will maintain security data, account information, settlement instructions, and system records.

You will perform reconciliations between systems and escalate discrepancies when needed.

You will build fixed income product knowledge while supporting system testing, procedures, and training documentation.
Education & Experience Requirements
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field preferred with 2-4 years of experience in financial services, operations, securities processing, trade support or 7-10 years of related work experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
FINRA Licensing: Series 99 required or the ability to pass the SIE and Series 99 within one year of hire.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently research and resolve issues.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external business partners.

Ability to work independently with limited supervision while exercising sound judgment and attention to detail.
