Location: Heartland Elementary Applicant must be highly qualified. This would include one of the following: - Associate's degree or higher from an accredited college/university; or - 48 semester hours from an accredited college/university; or - Pass the ParaPro Assessment
Must complete Basic Training (5 hours) provided by JSD Special Education Department. Training must be completed within one week of hire as a condition of employment.
Additional 40 hours of training is available through the Special Education department allowing the employee to increase to lane 5 upon completion. Training must be completed within six (6) months from hire date as a condition of employment.
Effective July 1, 2026 Lane 4 Step 1 ($21.33/Hour)
