Construction Intern

Suncore is a family-owned company with over 80 years of experience in the construction industry. We’re looking for a motivated Construction Intern to support our project managers and gain hands-on experience in estimating, project coordination, and construction operations.

If you’re pursuing a degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, we’d love to have you on our team!

What You’ll Do

• Assist project managers with quantity takeoffs, project estimates, field measurements for budgeting and billing, pickup plans, project specifications, and traffic control CAD drawings.

• Prepare material price quotes and project submittal information.

• Coordinate logistics for customer orders and assist with daily business operations.

• Enter project data into estimating software and Viewpoint.

• Track material quantities for billing purposes.

• Learn construction processes and project management through hands-on experience.

What You’ll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.

• Strong computer skills.

• Intermediate knowledge of the construction industry.

• Good communication and customer relations skills.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, work with budgets, and meet tight project deadlines.
