Diesel Mechanic

Suncore is looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair our construction equipment fleet. If you’re experienced in diesel engines, hydraulics, and troubleshooting, join our team and enjoy competitive pay, excellent benefits, and a workplace that values your expertise.

Schedule**:** Start time is 3:00 PM.

What You’ll Do

• Perform routine diesel engine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on construction equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and dump trucks.

• Inspect equipment and identify worn or damaged parts for repair or replacement.

• Troubleshoot engine fault codes using diagnostic tools and equipment.

What You’ll Need

• Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and hydraulic diagrams.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably in the construction industry.

• Experience with Oshkosh mixer trucks preferred.

• Diesel mechanic certification or equivalent experience preferred.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
