What You'll Do

• Prepare and serve meals according to approved menus, recipes, and resident dietary needs

• Ensure proper food quality, portion control, and temperature standards

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, dishes, utensils, and work areas

• Check meal trays for accuracy and resident preferences

• Properly store food and supplies according to regulations

• Assist with inventory, stocking, and supply management

• Follow all sanitation, infection control, and safety procedures

• Report equipment issues, hazards, and incidents promptly

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Food Handler's Permit and/or ServSafe Certification as required by state regulations

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment

• Ability to work around ovens, stoves, and walk-in coolers/freezers

• Ability to work cooperatively with residents, families, and team members

• Ability to pass required background checks and employment screenings
