Dietary Aide – Part-Time

Spring Oak Senior Living | Toms River, NJ Pay: $15.92 per hour Schedule: Mondays, 3:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m., with additional shifts to cover team members’ days off

Spring Oak Toms River is seeking a dependable, friendly Dietary Aide to help create enjoyable dining experiences for our residents. If you enjoy helping others and working as part of a team, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparing and serving meals, snacks, and beverages.

• Help residents with mealtime needs, including feeding and drinking assistance as directed.

• Follow dietary guidelines, individual meal plans, and special requests.

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.

• Assist with dishwashing, food preparation, and dining room setup and cleanup.

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures.

• Work with the dietary team to ensure meals are served accurately and on time.

• Provide friendly, respectful service to residents and communicate their needs or concerns to the appropriate team member.

Qualifications:

• Previous dietary, food service, or kitchen experience preferred, especially in assisted living or a nursing home.

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and organization.

• A patient, compassionate approach to assisting older adults.

• Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Dependability and flexibility to cover additional shifts.
