The Utah Department of Health Human Services (DHHS) is excited to announce an opening for an Accounting Technician III at the Utah State Developmental Center (USDC). This position prepares and processes a variety of accounting transactions, which includes accounts payable, vendor set up and maintenance while assisting clients, providers, accounting, and purchasing at facilities. Other duties may include reviewing documents for completeness and accuracy, performing adjustments to data and accounts, auditing accounting transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing reports, retrieving files, and using and entering information into databases and other computer programs. Preferences Special consideration will be given to applicants who possess professional experience in a healthcare or hospital environment. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a proven capacity for working effectively with individuals with disabilities and other vulnerable demographics.
