About the job
Perform admitting history and physicals on new patients admitted to the hospital. See patients on the unit for a medical problem and write a note documenting visit. Complete summary notes on each patient every ninety days. Order labs/x-rays, appropriate outside consults and review the results. Attend medical services meetings twice a month. May require on-call coverage (taking off-hours call responsibilities) during evening and weekend hours.
