This position supports the planning, coordination, and on-site execution of food and beverage activations across PGA Tour operated events. The position works closely with the PGA Tour Operated Events team, catering providers, Official Marketing Parther (OMP) sponsors, and vendors to ensure successful integration of partner products and experiences within tournament concessions, hospitality, and other event environments, consistent with partnership agreements and operational requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Hospitality, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years of related experience in event operations, hospitality, sponsorship activation, or experiential marketing; sports or entertainment industry experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with internal teams, sponsors, catering providers, and vendors.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally, including extended on-site support during events.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of food and beverage activations across PGA Tour Operated Events, including OMP sponsor integrations, concessions, hospitality experiences, and on-site vendor programs.
- Coordinate with internal teams, catering providers, OMP sponsors, and vendors to align activation plans, operational requirements, and event timelines.
- Serve as a primary on-site point of contact for assigned food and beverage activations, coordinating setup, execution, and resolution of operational issues throughout tournament week.
- Monitor OMP sponsor and vendor activations to ensure compliance with partnership agreements, product exclusivity provisions, brand guidelines, and other contractual commitments.
- Coordinate OMP sponsor product integration across catering and concessions, including menu offerings, specialty beverages, product placement, signage, and promotional elements.
- Maintain activation schedules, planning materials, and ongoing communications with catering providers and internal stakeholders to support consistent execution across events.
- Track activation deliverables, approvals, and deadlines, identifying and escalating potential issues or inconsistencies.
- Support post-event recaps, billing coordination, data collection, and reporting to evaluate activation execution and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain effective working relationships with external partners and vendors throughout event planning, execution, and post-event activities.
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
