Machine Cleaning Technician

Pay: $19.70 per hour Location: London, Ohio Shift: 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Job Summary

We are hiring a dependable, hands-on Machine Cleaning Technician to clean and maintain production machinery in a manufacturing environment. This position involves cleaning approximately one machine per shift using rubbing alcohol and basic cleaning tools. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, following established procedures, and completing hands-on tasks without constant supervision. Basic tool knowledge is helpful, and candidates should be comfortable with physical work.

Responsibilities

• Clean approximately one production machine per shift using rubbing alcohol and approved cleaning materials.
• Use basic hand tools and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
• Inspect equipment during the cleaning process and report any visible issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Complete assigned tasks independently and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of tools and general hands-on work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform physical work throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Willingness to learn equipment cleaning procedures.
• Previous manufacturing, machine cleaning, or maintenance experience is helpful but not required.
