Success will be reflected in a forecasting model that is faster, simpler, more accurate, well governed, and consistently adopted across FP&A. Innovative thinking to challenge the current state to fully transform the forecast process.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and Design: Map end-to-end forecasting workflows, handoffs, decision points, rework loops, and elapsed-time gaps.
- Identify root causes related to ownership, decision rights, data readiness, calendar design, and manual workarounds.
- Design the future-state operating model, including workflow sequencing, inputs and outputs, decision gates, escalation paths, and integration points.
- Prioritize, Pilot, and Scale: Build a transformation roadmap that sequences process, data, and automation opportunities by value, feasibility, risk, readiness, and dependencies.
- Facilitate prioritization decisions with Finance leadership and clearly communicate trade-offs.
- Design and lead pilots with defined scope, success measures, timelines, and learning objectives.
- Measure outcomes, refine the approach, and scale proven changes while maintaining process integrity.
- Track adoption and outcomes using measures such as cycle time, rework, compliance, engagement, and forecast accuracy trends.
- Establish feedback loops and governance to sustain improvements.
