About the job

How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

At Delta Air Lines, we're redefining how brands connect with customers through premium, high-impact advertising experiences. We're expanding on the foundation of Delta Sync into new advertising opportunities, and we're looking for someone to be the head of our ad products department, who thrives in complex technical environments and has deep experience in optimizing media network technology in an AI-driven world.

The Ad Products Lead will define, launch, and evolve all advertising products, inventory, audience offerings, and measurement capabilities that advertisers can buy across Delta's evolving sell-side landscape, including Owned, Digital Out of Home, and Data. This Ad Product Lead owns the ad product vision and roadmap, leads cross-functional stakeholder alignment and prioritization, translates business goals into actionable product requirements, and leads execution to drive revenue growth and advertiser impact while ensuring a best-in-class customer experience.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

• Product Strategy & Vision: Define the short- and long-term ad product roadmap — including inventory, audience offerings, and measurement capabilities — aligned to revenue, experience, and brand objectives across all of Delta's media network channels.

• Ad Tech Strategy & Enablement: Define business requirements and product priorities for the Media Network’s ad server(s), order management system, and data and measurement platforms; partner with IT & Engineering and technology vendors on the implementation, integration, and ongoing optimization.

• Prioritization & Influence: Lead cross-functional stakeholder alignment and prioritization of ad product investment, balancing business goals, platform priorities, and engineering capacity.

• Productization: Translate business strategy and advertiser needs into scalable, repeatable ad products with clearly defined capabilities, requirements, business rules, and experience guardrails. Lead internal and external stakeholders through product definition and development from concept to market readiness.

• Inventory & Monetization Strategy: Define how Delta’s owned channels and experiences translate into scalable advertising inventory, establishing formats, placements, eligibility, availability, and experience guardrails. Continuously identify opportunities to unlock new monetizable inventory while protecting the customer experience and Delta brand.

• Commercialization & Sales Enablement: Partner with Ad Sales, Ad Sales Marketing, and Finance to translate ad capabilities into clear, market-ready offerings with defined inventory, audiences, measurement, packaging, pricing inputs, and sales guardrails. Equip commercial teams with the product knowledge and tools needed to confidently position solutions with advertisers and agencies.

• Cross-Functional Delivery & Enterprise Integration: Partner across Delta technology, data, privacy, and experience teams to define Media Network requirements and integrate ad products into the broader enterprise ecosystem. Proactively manage dependencies across capabilities such as MDM, CDP, CRM, consent and preference management, clean rooms, brand safety, creative tooling, and workflow platforms to enable successful product delivery.

• AI & Emerging Product Capabilities: Identify where AI and emerging technologies can enhance Delta’s ad products, advertiser experiences, and internal product workflows. Incorporate high-value use cases into the product roadmap and partner with technology teams to bring prioritized capabilities to market.

• Innovation & Differentiation: Drive innovation in the ad product space to differentiate Delta's Media Network; identify emerging media trends and formats to develop differentiated, value-accretive ad experiences.

• Product Performance & Market Feedback: Establish a continuous feedback loop across product performance, sales teams, advertisers, agencies, and market trends to understand product adoption, identify unmet needs and friction points, and continuously evolve the portfolio based on demonstrated market demand and performance.

• Team Leadership: Directly lead the Data Product, Owned Product, and DOOH Product functions, and indirectly lead cross-functional technology partners and engineering teams (internal and external).
